Without the right training, kids with autism and ADHD can be difficult to treat!

Their condition may take years before it begins to shift on its own. Parents are usually frustrated, overwhelmed and unsure whether or not acupuncture can help! And to be honest, acupuncture will take time to get results.

You probably didn't get ANY training on how to treat autism or ADHD in acupuncture school. You may feel like you don't know how to approach these kids. And you may not know what to say when parents ask how well acupuncture works for these conditions.

But, if you hate seeing such high numbers of young children put on medications and you want to help, you're in the right place.

Acupuncture CAN help and emerging research gives us some direction on how to treat autism. We can harness the power of the Five Elements to guide our interaction and treatment of kids with ADHD. We can help them reach balance.

That's why I put together this course. I wanted to learn how to treat kids with autism and ADHD, so I delved in the research in both Chinese medicine and integrative treatments. Introduction to Treating Autism and ADHD, is the culmination of everything I learned and it's streamlined to you can learn to help these kids, too!

  • “I knew I needed training and support in order to successfully treat this demographic as well as provide a framework for how to educate parents. I now feel more confident in my ability to treat kids and teens. I have a language in which to explain to my patients and their parents how Chinese medicine can support them during this process. In addition, the Five Element Typing is a brilliant interactive tool that generates interest, curiosity and engagement from my patients and their families! I would definitely recommend this class to other acupuncturists and look forward to continuing to train with Robin!”

  • “I feel a lot more confident after taking this course in talking to parents about how acupuncture and tuina can make a difference in their child in these two areas. I have worked with a few of my patient's children over the years and really want to grow my pediatric practice. I like how Robin has a lot of information on how to share with parents the benefits of acupuncture and get them enrolled in choosing TCM for treatment and preventative care.”
