The same is needed for adults - getting out in the air and exercise outside for better results and less costly as well.  Outside air and movement is needed for the brain as well as the body.  Sadly, children are being cheated of real life outside their home so many afraid of cats and dogs outside.  We spent most of our time after school and on weekends playing outdoors with neighborhood friends and school friends.  I still love being outside whether working in the garden or exercising and including some running as well.   The air in many homes is stale or damaged by products used in the kitchen or cleaning furniture or floors, or the use of bleach which is truly detrimental to everyone but in particular little children and older people as well.   Health benefits are outdoors!
