Robin's Top 3 Must-Read Books to Inspire an Amazing 2015!
So, I have to admit something… I'm a reading addict. Ok, now you know. I plow through books like crazy and with my new Kindle Fire I just love that I can download any book I want in seconds! That's right, people! Mere seconds! As 2014 is coming to a close, I just had to share my top 3 favorite books that I read this year. They're sure to inspire you to have an amazing 2015! I'm saving the best book for last (so keep on reading). 1. The Big Leap: Conquer your Hidden Fear and Take Life to the Next Level by Gay Hendricks This book was truly life changing for me and just about everyone that I've ever met that has read it. Have you ever felt like something was blocking you or holding you back? With this book you'll figure out what your upper limit is and learn how to SMASH it! 2. Thrive: The Third Metric to Redefining Success and Creating a Life of Well-being, Wisdom and Wonder by Arianna Huffington A raw look at how society's current definition of success is leading us to create stress, chaos and burnout in our lives. Arianna addresses the problem so completely along with changes we need to make to thrive. If you want to learn how to master technology instead of letting it master you this is a must read. I think this is one book all of our patient's should read because so many of the issues we treat are caused by stress. 3. The Fire Starter Sessions: A Soulful + Practical Guide to Creating Success on Your Own Terms by Danielle LaPorte I saved the best for last! This is the PERFECT time of year to cozy up to the fire and drink in a little of Danielle's wisdom! This book turns goal setting upside down and inside out! Before you write down your goals for 2015, the most important thing you can do is figure out how you want to feel. Not just when you meet your goals, but how you want to feel every single day! Once you figure out your "core desired feelings" you can use them as your guiding light to make sure that your goals are in alignment with how you want to live your life on your own terms.
