How Can You Incorporate AcuPatching™ into Your Practice?
AcuPatching™ uses the power of acupoint stimulation with the benefits of light therapy to address symptoms and treat the root cause of illness as diagnosed in Chinese medicine.
It has a similar therapeutic effect as acupuncture, but without any needles and it can be done at home. That means it's great for home care between visits and telehealth. It's incredibly helpful for pediatric and needle sensitive patients.
It's a safe, effective, non-transdermal technique of stimulating acupoints to help your patients feel better!
AcuPatching™ for Pain, Acute Issues & Minor Injuries
AcuPatching can help resolve acute conditions like pain, earache, fever, headaches, bumps, and bruises.
Clinical studies and empirical evidence show that light therapy patching will result in a 50% to 100% decrease in pain within 2-3 minutes of application.
Apply patches prior to an acupuncture session, to boost the effectiveness of your treatment. Then send your patients home with patches. Patient satisfaction improves as they continue experiencing the relief of acupoint stimulation during home care.
AcuPatching™ for Minor Injuries
Because the patches are activated by the body's infrared heat and light the patches work over clothing and are activated up to 6" away from the body!
That means you can use it as part of your patient's first aid kit. You can put a patch over bandaids, bandages, and even casts.
Or your patients can AcuPatch in the middle of the night or in times of need when you want to try and manage symptoms at home before seeking medical care.
AcuPatching™ is for Chronic Issues, too!
Patients in the Unwellness Gap™ suffer from chronic conditions like asthma, allergies, ear infections, anxiety, digestive issues, pain, headaches or eczema (to name a few).
They're not totally sick and not totally well either.
Life can become a daily struggle.
They need more support to move stagnant Qi & Blood or tonify their Yin, Blood, Qi or Jing.
AcuPatching offers a fantastic home care option for patients with chronic issues that need more support to restore their health and well being.
“Since receiving training from Robin and the AcuPatching™ team 6 months ago, I have added phototherapy patching to my practice and now consider it an essential therapy for almost any condition. It is completely compatible with acupuncture theory and practice and at the same time effective as a stand-alone therapy or after-care for patients to use at home. It’s also been an effective tool for my telehealth patients who can easily use it on their own with simple instructions of use. I highly recommend receiving AcuPatching™ training from Robin and joining the amazing AcuPatching™ community of practitioners to help grow and expand your business. ”

“Just have to report this fantastic x39 win! I had a malignant melanoma excision done one month ago on my left lower tricep (just up and lateral from LI 11). The surgery went perfectly, but the scar and surrounding area have been painful, swollen, and purple. The lateral inch of the 3-inch scar was raised approximately 3/4 inch compared to the rest of the scar and the rest of my arm. Based on Robin's recent Office Hours suggestion to use X39 on c-section scars post-partum, I tried an x39 yesterday on my scar after I woke up in great pain... within 2 hours, the pain was completely gone, by bedtime, the scar was pink instead of purple, and by the next morning the scar was completely flat...! ”

“I had a male patient with an adductor strain—I suspected adductor longus. As my fellow sports med L.Ac.s know, or anyone else who's needled adductor muscle motor points, this can be a tricky/vulnerable area to needle, especially on men. I had the patient place an X-39 patch directly on his point of pain, which was essentially LV10. He had immediate relief, and was able to walk and move without pain. The pain started to return in about 3 hours, so I guided him to move the patch 1 cun superior to LV11. This was based on David's recommendation to move the patch slightly if the pain returned. Again, the pain was gone, and hasn't returned (the treatment was performed 2 days ago). I've asked the patient not to sprint for a while (which is how he injured it), and if the pain returns, he'll patch the same location again. In my experience, I see adductor strains taking so much longer to heal, with multiple treatments required. I'm just so pleased for the response thus far, and it was so much easier to patch this sensitive location versus needle it. ”

Phototherapy has been around for over 100 years.
It's very well researched with over 5000 clinical studies elucidating the underlying physiological mechanisms. The benefits of low level light therapy are numerous and it is very safe.
It will not cause any damage to the skin - in fact it does just the opposite! Improving collagen production and reducing fine lines and wrinkles.
There are over 70 studies measuring the physiological improvements Lifewave patches activate such as reductions in pain, swelling, and inflammation and increasing glutathione, fat burning, and cellular energy.
It also helps support immunity, digestion, energy, sleep quality, stress adaptation, wound healing, skin and wrinkles. Check out the science here.
The results are consistent with what I've seen with acupuncture and phototherapy devices, but now it's available for use at home!
